Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Scolaire Video Management Platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Service Description

Scolaire is an educational video content management platform designed for schools, administrators, and teachers. The platform provides:

• Video hosting and streaming services for educational content
• Content organization by grades, subjects, and topics
• Role-based access control for administrators and teachers
• Geo-fencing and location-based access controls
• Video feedback and rating systems

User Accounts and Roles

Account Registration: User accounts are created by authorized administrators only. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

User Roles:

• Scolaire Admin: Full platform access and management capabilities
• School Admin: School-level administration and teacher management
• Teacher: Access to educational content within assigned grades

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Service only for lawful educational purposes. You must not:

• Share your account credentials with unauthorized individuals
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or geo-fencing restrictions
• Upload, distribute, or share content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Use the Service to transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or system resources
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated tools to scrape or download content without permission

Content Rights and Ownership

Platform Content: All educational videos and materials provided through the Service are the property of Scolaire or licensed content providers. You may not download, redistribute, or use content outside the platform without explicit permission.

User-Generated Content: Feedback and ratings submitted by users remain their property but grant Scolaire a license to use such content for platform improvement purposes.

Session Management and Security

We enforce single session per user to ensure account security. If you log in from a new device, your previous session will be automatically terminated. You agree to:

• Log out after each session, especially on shared devices
• Immediately notify your administrator of any security breaches
• Use strong passwords and change them regularly
• Allow location access when required for geo-fencing compliance

Geo-Fencing and Location Services

Certain features require location services to verify that you are accessing content from authorized locations (e.g., within school premises). By using the mobile app, you consent to location tracking for this purpose. You may be denied access if you are outside the designated geo-fence area.

Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to provide uninterrupted service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service
• Update features and functionality without prior notice
• Perform scheduled maintenance that may temporarily affect availability

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• Your school or organization terminates their subscription
• We detect suspicious or unauthorized activity
• Required by law or legal authorities

Upon termination, your access to the Service will be revoked, and your data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• The accuracy or completeness of educational content
• That the Service meets your specific requirements

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scolaire shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scolaire and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable local laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels in your jurisdiction.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notifications.
